In order to become a good product, an idea needs to be developped, challenged, tested with future users, implemented, sold, supported, etc. All those phases require a product manager who can build the necessary bridges between people who do not necessarily speak the same language: engineering, finance, marketing, sales, communication, User Experience. A product manager that can see the overall picture and understand the underneath user needs that are still to be fulfilled.
As an experienced product manager, I can build those bridges, I can speak those languages and I can see that picture.

My role in the company is overall product management, as well as development of opportunities and innovation, project management (agile, lean), ressource research, etc. From May 2014 to September 2014 (5 months) Quebec, CanadaProduct Manager @ Development of a toolkit (web and paper) to help non-governmental organizations (NGOs) manage their volunteers. My role was to translate a 3-year field research into a practical tool that NGOs could actually use to improve their practices, and thus given their various constraints and thier limited ressources.
The result is a 4-step process including a "board game" to manage brainstorming sessions where organisations will decide on their main challenge and will be able to find concrete solutions to that challenge. The web page proposes additional tools to set up the actions decided during the brainstorming session. From November 2013 to April 2014 (6 months) Cloud Computing Product Manager - Customer Enablement @ Responsible for the Customer Enablement of the Cloud Computing products for business, this included: study of the online experience and improvement strategy proposition, client and internal training concepts, pre-sales and client documentation, forum and wiki strategy and development, etc.

My responsibilities also included the generation of the documentation of the application and the creation of a wiki portal with all the information needed about the development process. I was responsible for the whole project (specification or the architecture, implementation, documentation, etc). From May 2005 to September 2005 (5 months) Software Engineer Internship @ I developed a module of a telecommunication transactional software project in a high level object-oriented language. I was responsible for the set up and specification of a security related module inside the most important software tool of the company (specialized in transactional tools for the core of wireless networks).
