- Prototyped and constructed a modular, low-cost, efficient shower system to facilitate sanitation and improve the shower experience in the slums of Nairobi.
- Conducted detailed community surveys for around 200 people, built community relations with two principal local youth groups in partnership with Sanergy, an MIT-startup.
- Lead the Showergy team in 2012 for further iterations of the prototype. Initiated a novel concept for the Indian dyeing industry that obviates the use of highly-pollutant chemical dyeing buffers and lower energy requirements of the dyeing process.
