πΌ Past Experience
The experience of working as an intern at International IDEA in Lima, Peru, where Michael Tuso was responsible for all major business functions, hit and exceeded company metrics by a larger margin than any previous manager in the history of the program, andSDRs. In his work at United States Senate in Washington, DC, he led a team of sales representatives that were responsible for generating revenue and prospectsing into small businesses in order to provide lead generation for senior sales executives. He also worked as the only manager, responsible for all major business functions for our work abroad program, and authored and implemented all major policies for the international office, including budget, personnel, and training. At Chili Piper, where he was the highest performing sales representative in the office, he led a team of 23 sales representatives and Techniques for Making Margins, a book that became an industry standard, which led to a growth in the sales development team and a sustained growth in the sales force. He also began working at University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a research assistant, and later as a student body president. At Linda Coleman Legal Fund, where he was responsible for mobilizing political support for the campaignβs subsequent legal and provisional ballot count effort, he also oversaw all aspects of the campaign, earning accolades for the achievement. He next worked as the campaign manager for Linda Coleman for Lieutenant Governor in Raleigh, NC, where he was responsible for all aspects of the statewide political campaign that outperformed both the Democratic gubernatorial candidate by receiving 249,290 more votes, outperforming by 6.69%, and receiving more votes than President Obama in North Carolina. He then worked as a corporate sales representative at Citrix, where he led a team of sales representatives that were responsible for generating revenue and prospectsing into small businesses in order to provide lead generation for senior sales executives and conducting demonstrations and consultations for business owners. He also worked with the media, issuing press releases, advisories, and speeches for the campaign. Lastly, he became the senior advisor to Linda Coleman Legal Fund, where he helped manage the financial support for the campaign, prepared candidates for debate and editorial boards, and acted as the spokesman for the campaign.

Michael Tuso is a full-time artist, activist and educator. Tuso's education began at Needham B. Broughton High School in 2003. There he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International and Global Studies. For his undergraduate studies, Tuso continued to attend University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 2011. Tuso then studied at Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola where he received his Master of Arts in Political Science and International and Global Studies in 2010. Tuso has been an artist and activist since he was a child. Tuso has been involved in various artist movements, such ase Earth Abides, dare to Protest and Art Against Poverty. Tuso currently resides in Santa Ana, CA.
