💼 Past Experience

I earned my B.S. degree in engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2002. After grad school, I worked as a software engineer at Time Warner Cable in Westminster, CO. I then moved to Harmonic in Boulder, CO and became a Senior Software Engineer. There I produced Windows and Java-based network management software for controlling and provisioning the communications equipment that is Harmonic’s core business. In addition, I worked on a large team developing embedded software for the handset of a satellite-based phone system called GlobalStar. My area of interest was interfacing the application software with the separate encryption hardware. My experience and skills in this area led to my current role as a software engineer at Qualcomm in San Diego, CA.I am very excited about my new career as a software engineer at Qualcomm. I am looking forward to working on innovative and high-value products that will help enable people to have enhanced experiences with virtual reality, augmented reality, and other type of digital technology. My experience with developing software for embedded systems and web interfaces will be particularly helpful in this field.
