Leading a social media team across multiple brands is one of the most important jobs in any marketing agency. Furthermore, Maya worked with external social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter, to develop effective social content for each brand. Maya McDonald desire to pursue a career in education began during her time at Madison East High School. Maya was able to use her education to develop herself as both an individual and a leader. Additionally, Maya was able to work experience in both public and private schools in the area, which gave her the unique opportunity to see both sides of the education field. When Maya was at Lawrence University, she learned that she had what it takes to be a successful educator. After completing her degree, Maya had the opportunity to teach in a high school in Iowa. Maya was able to use her knowledge of the English language and her ability to develop relationships with her students to provide outstanding education.When Maya heard about the open positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she knew that she had to take the opportunity. Maya was impressed with the quality of the education and the opportunities that the school had to offer. Maya decided that she wanted to work in the education field and was ecstatic to find a position that would allow her to achieve her goals. Maya is excited to be a part of the UW-Madison community and is committed to providing excellent education to her students.

To date, Maya McDonald has worked in a variety of customer service and digital positions across a number of companies. Her experience in brand activations, social media marketing, and social media management gave her a good understanding of how to create successful social media content for a company.
