The project entailed process mapping the bank's branches and departments following Six Sigma doctrine. The project resulted in me gaining an in-depth knowledge of all the products and services a bank offer, how they offer these services and a good understanding of the banking and finance sector. Progressed from consultant to co-project leader during the duration of the project. Managing several teams to complete their work in departments simultaneously, while liaising with the bank on progress and intentions. Delivered presentations to bank directors, department heads and managers on a regular basis. Establishing new relationships and building rapport on a daily basis with bank staff to gain an understanding of their daily processes. Taking meetings with department heads and their staff before starting new bank departments to ensure they were fully briefed and aware of the information required from them. Producing reports upon finishing departments for manager sign off and quality checking. Aided in staff training and performance monitoring. Identifying strengths and weaknesses of staff to efficiently utilise them in the correct roles. Aiding in setting and managing KPIs for the project. Identifying potential business improvements through review of the project work and engaging with bank staff. The outcome of the project resulted in an annual cost reductions of 37% in the retail banking division. I also aided in designing a new sales strategy to boost sales in the retail banking division along with further improvements to current IT systems in place. From December 2013 to April 2014 (5 months) KuwaitSearch Engine Evaluator - Self Employed @ Contracted to provide analysis and evaluation of new search algorithms being tested by Google. • This involved completing work to strict time limits whilst making sure work produced was researched in-depth and of the highest quality. • Provided feedback on search engine results by measuring the relevance and usefulness of web pages in correlation to predefined queries, by providing comparative analysis of sets of search engine results and various other techniques.
