In this journal, Mendelsohn’s project garnered him the award for best article of the year, as well as a judge’s notice in the journal’s prestigious journal, The Wall Street Journal. Mendelsohn’s project also forms the basis of his book, “Politics and Policy: A Concise Introduction.”Mendelsohn’s experience and work-readiness have improved significantly since his time as an intern at the White House National Security Council. He is now more prepared to engage in policy-making than ever before, and he has the skillset to be a successful lobbyist. Mendelsohn has also continued to develop his policy-making skills through his work with the United States Senator’s eyesore Washington D.C. and Portland, Oregon.
