From November 2014 to Present (10 months) Palo AltoGroup Product Manager of PayPal Growth/Funding Mix @ Responsible for product and marketing strategy of Top Customer segment. Responsible of product strategy and innovation for cash management and prepaid products. • Developed strategy to drive choice for low cost payment methods through value added benefits. This strategy will be the foundation of the next generation PayPal experiences and is expected to drive incremental $5 M in margin. • Led the negotiations and brokered deals with several partners to implement in record time value added services tied to the use of bank and PayPal prepaid products. • Redesigned PayPal sign up experience to improve activation while driving adoption of low cost payment methods. Expected to increase activation rate by 5% upon roll out. From February 2014 to November 2014 (10 months) San Francisco Bay AreaSenior Manager, Product Management/Marketing Strategy of PayPal Funding Mix @ Responsible in expanded role for bank payments and product and marketing strategy of Funding Mix team. The Funding Mix team is responsible for the single largest expense: over $1.4 B in processing fees. • Created Funding Mix Marketing strategy for 2012-2013 uncovering proven growth opportunities that will deliver a benefit to bottom-line of $5 M in 2014 and $73 M by 2016. • Led the implementation of a new bank funding product across 8 markets in a record time (3 months). Resulted in increase of over $1 B in annual bank payments and $20 million direct to profit. • Coordinated cross-functional launch efforts with marketing, PR, technology, legal, and customer support to implement PayPal policy changes that improved customer experience and enabled $5 M of top-line in 2013 . • Developed enhancements to PayPal checkout products to increase conversation and reduce bank fees. Resulted in $6 M of annual profit. • Launched a series of over 10 tests in mobile and online products with a 40% success rate. Resulted in $11 M of annual profit increase.
