He was always quick to identify how to get things done, no matter how low-key or Cerberus-like the task.Eventually, he was named Regional Vice President for South America, and his duties included developing relationships with Latin American companies and reaching out to their talent leaders. He traveled a lot, meeting with heads of companies and headhunters, learning everything he could about how to find and bring in the best talent.He was constantly impressed with how he could see right through people and their psyches, and was able to zero in on the things that mattered to them. He made the tough calls, and knew when to step back and let someone else do their job.He has the ability to boil complex things down to a very simple scenario, and he can speak brightly about anything, no matter how unappetizing it may seem. He is a great listener, and a good teacher – he can help you understand why people make the decisions they make, and how to get the most out of their personalities.In short, John Talarico is a great recruiter – he's got the mix of skill set and experience that means he can take on any situation and make it work.
