He has won two editions of the prestigious Best ChefEngland Award, and has been awarded two stars in the Michelin Guide.Ajenstat began his professional career as a cook at Hôtel des Invalides in Paris. He then worked at the Ritz-Carlton and le Meridien restaurants in London. He moved to the United States in 2006 and worked at the Benares and Benares French Restaurant in New York City. He then opened his own restaurant, Ajenstat's, in Arlington, Virginia in 2009.Ajenstat has been awarded two Michelin stars for his cooking and desserts at his restaurant Ajenstat's.
