The International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals is a 501(c) 3 non-profit association that is owned and managed by its members. The organization is dedicated to the academic and professional success of Minority Cybersecurity students and professionals. - Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1996- Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 2000. Deidre Diamond has a degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from California State University- Fullerton. Diamond then earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri-Rolla. Diamond is currently a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri- Rolla.Diamond stated in an interview with YOLOVE that her professional goal is to "provide equal opportunity and to protect the rights of those who have not been given the opportunity to achieve success." Diamond is also involved in the anti-discrimination organization Asian Leaders United.Diamond has a background in criminal justice that sheieved to be beneficial in her work readiness as a criminal justice officer. Diamond's criminal justice education has taught her how to investigate and investigate suspects, identify criminal patterns, and use forensic methods totestify in court. Diamond has also learned about nineteenth century law and how to cite case law in her law enforcement investigations. Diamond stated that understanding the history of criminal justice is important for officers because it will help them make sure that justice is done in the courtroom. Additionally, Diamond believes that the classroom is an effective way to teach criminal justice concepts.Diamond has been a law enforcement officer for over 10 years and has worked in a variety of positions. In her past work experiences, Diamond has been a patrol officer, detective, Robbery Unit detective, and evidence technician. Diamond states that she enjoys working with people and enjoys teaching criminal justice.Diamond has experience working in a variety of communities and has partnered with local organizations in her work.Diamond has been a leader in her community and has worked to make her community a better place.
