The International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals is a 501(c) 3 non-profit association that is owned and managed by its members. Deidre Diamond has a degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from California State University- Fullerton. Diamond then earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri-Rolla. Diamond is currently a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri- Rolla.Diamond stated in an interview with YOLOVE that her professional goal is to "provide equal opportunity and to protect the rights of those who have not been given the opportunity to achieve success." In her past work experiences, Diamond has been a patrol officer, detective, Robbery Unit detective, and evidence technician.
