As a Design Project Manager, within Integrated Marketing Communications, I collaboratively work on Creative projects in the USA, while co-actively managing B.P.O. resources for same, in a 24/7 workflow. Prior to San Francisco: I worked for eight years producing agency and/or broadcast TV content, in multiple languages, for companies such as: Viacom, Telemundo, Univision, and Disney Latino. Six years were focused on educational series TV as Creative Director; shot on green screen, & blended live-action & animation; awarded an Emmy + 2 noms, 2 Tellys, an Aurora, and an International Platinum AVA. In the years with which I have been associated with the company, I have gone from animating their logo, to handling visual effects for their features, and animating/compositing their show opens; as well as creating concept art movie posters for venture capitalists. Most recently, in 2008, I completed 60 minutes of: ADR, Foley, Scoring, Editing, Colour Correction, and "invisible" Visual Effects Compositing (sky & rig replacement, blemish/beauty correction, etc.) for their soap feature: "Verano Ardiente" ("Hot Summer"). Scope of work included: pre-production, production & post, 2D & 3D animation, compositing, chromakey, motion graphics, design, titling, video editing, multimedia DVD mastering, incl. DVD face & box art. In conjunction with colleagues of the Video Graphics Department, we helped to spearhead the TV station's transition from analog to digital, from SD to HD, in compliance with F.C.C. laws. We furthered that initiative by testing of Apple's X-San infrastructure. Our X-San was 17-TB, shared amongst us five Video/Graphics artists: with ingest, render, and output running 24/7/365 with 2-GB fiber-optic throughout, and a HD-SDI cable for the Mac Pro setups the group used. Involved in chromakey production & post, worked with the station's Master Control engineers, for the direct digital capture of a 4:2:2 signal from the studio. With remote monitoring, directed talent in the studio (via a CCTV monitor & headphones with PA mic patch), while ensuring proper signal and recording on the lab side. As the Art Director and Compositor on the series,' I knew the marks the talent needed to hit for the shots to work best visually, as well as most efficaciously for post production. Only on those occasions did I direct talent, otherwise, there was a separate director for live-action only scenes. As Series Art Director, helped station to earn an Emmy (2007) for Outstanding Youth/Children's TV Programming: Series, for "It's the Write Time" (sic). In 2008, the same show was awarded an International Platinum AVA, by the National Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals (A.M.C.P.)
