Dew Ponit currently serves as the Zonal Manager at Bombardier / Fokker Elmo B.V., where he plays a pivotal role in the technical integration of Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) for the Global 7000/8000 aircraft programs. His responsibilities encompass overseeing the design reviews and establishing robust base designs for production aircraft, ensuring that electrical systems meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency. Dew’s expertise in Aircraft Systems, CAD, and VPM enables him to lead complex engineering initiatives, streamline wiring harness integration, and optimize EWIS re-design processes to reduce weight, improve maintainability, and enhance overall aircraft performance.

In his current role, Dew is deeply involved in cross-disciplinary collaboration, working closely with aerostructures, systems engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of EWIS components within the aircraft fuselage, wings, and empennage.
