Songwriters 4 Survivors

Songwriters for Survivors is a collaboration of songwriters and musicians in the Tennessee Valley. Our goal is to organize benefit concerts to raise funds that will help meet the needs of the citizens of North Alabama who have been devastated by various disasters. We were founded after the tornado outbreak of April 25-28, 2011 when the towns of Harvest and Phil Campbell, and surrounding areas, were devastated by the deadliest tornado on record. All funds raised by us go to the United Way for long term relief fund of this severe disaster. However, when the clean up was finished our mission was not. We exist perpetually to come together in times of disaster, to provide whatever is necessary to those most effected and, also as a community safety net for those effected individuals that may have fallen through the FEMA's and the United Way's various "cracks". As long as there is a need in North Alabama, we will use the talents given to us, to give to others.
