FUNDFUSE® is the first UK local crowdfunding incubator. It conveniently brings all stakeholders together online to start or grow a business and supports them offline with workshops and training. Entrepreneurs, investors, sponsors, experts and organisations meet, pitch ideas, fundraise, invest, organise events, and find like-minded people for support.

FUNDFUSE® shines a light on local talent, entrepreneurship and innovation, whether it takes the form of a product, project, service, venture or event. Entrepreneurs exist across all sectors and, there are many different types: ‘copreneurs’, ‘dadpreneurs’, ‘intrapreneurs’, ‘mumpreneurs’, ‘socialpreneurs’ and ‘startupreneurs’; which one are you ?

Crowdfunding is rapidly emerging as a vehicle to democratise access to capital, and to place those funds in the hands of local entrepreneurs and small business people who, study after study has confirmed, create the most new jobs in any economy and, contribute most to the prosperity of their community and the nation. In 2012 crowdfunding platforms raised a total of $2.7bn and in 2013, total global funding volumes of $5.1bn.

With the introduction of the Localism Act, more and more communities are looking to do more for and in, their local area. It is also fair to say that businesses are realising that with the ever increasing cost of transportation, labour, and general living pressure costs, creating a strong local operating model is of vital importance. FUNDFUSE® addresses this need and, provides an end-to-end platform to support entrepreneurs during their entire crowdfunding journey.
