About ARTEFACTO
ARTEFACTO is a benchmark for virtual reality, augmented reality and 3D visualization. Founded in 1998 the company offers a multidisciplinary approach in response to specific needs in various areas of activity: architecture, culture, urban planning, heritage, etc.
For 15 years now, ARTEFACTO has been focusing on CGIs – Computer-Generated Imagery – audiovisual and multimedia materials to meet communication and training needs among others.
Having expanded its Research&Development activity over the last five years, ARTEFACTO has come up with brand new software solutions – Urbasee – integrating strong added-value technologies: on-plan and on-site augmented reality, tactile and mobile applications, perspectives, immersive environments, 3D animations, virtual worlds and serious games.
ARTEFACTO is much involved in several competitiveness clusters in France such as Pole Image & Reseaux, is part of the new B-Com project by the Technology Research Institute and GIE PME Numerique – which gathers more than 20 SMEs – and is eager to follow the same pattern abroad.
