Chris Rashid

Chris Rashid currently serves as Vice President of Operations at Houston Techno-Associates, where he leverages over 35 years of extensive experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), PMC (Project Management Consulting), and technical leadership within the energy sector. In this strategic role, Chris oversees the firm’s operational excellence, ensuring the seamless execution of complex projects across refining, petrochemical complexes, gas processing, and mid-stream infrastructure. His deep expertise in project management, project engineering, and technology management positions him as a key driver in delivering high-impact projects, including large-scale refinery upgrades, LPG terminal developments, and micro turbine power plant installations.

A significant aspect of Chris’s current responsibilities involves defining and managing due diligence processes for a $200 million fibers project in South Asia, where his strategic insights help mitigate risks and optimize project outcomes. Additionally, he is instrumental in developing comprehensive strategies for the deployment of captive gas turbine power plants utilizing naphtha as a fuel source, aligning operational efficiencies with sustainable energy solutions. His hands-on experience in project planning, commissioning, and manufacturing ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
