I noticed that {{company_name}} is growing like crazy – and with new growth comes new people, new eyes on code, which can often make things like prod pushes, new features, and hot fixes take longer than desirable.
As the first member of the {{department}} team, I’m sure you’ve taken part in countless code reviews. Have you ever had a pull request that’s taken a week when you felt it could have been done in a day? Have you ever had to explain something by taking a screenshot of it and drawing circles and arrows with paint?
Are PR’s not merging fast enough because they need to go to QA, and then need to be seen by multiple product stakeholders, and then need to be seen by the management for approval, and you have to set up a demo for every step of the process? Wouldn’t it make more sense to just have a preview environment built in per-commit that you can share with an URL?
