I have spent the past decade thinking about how to recruit better. Working with Direct Employers and Staffing Companies, my focus has been understanding how to leverage the best technology for hiring. Both my corporate and staffing customers are interested in having the best technology in recruitment and want to know the best practices for making a great hire. I get to travel the globe meeting great people and discussing what is working and sometimes what is not working.
Every client I meet, these days, is asking the same questions: How can I hire faster, how can I build a better relationship with my candidates, how can I make more placements! Does this sound familiar? What I notice is that we can all benefit from being clear about defining where we drive value to employers and candidates. CRM is now becoming an accepted methodology for recruiters, so what is next? How about leveraging expert knowledge gained by Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot, Eloqua, and apply that to recruiting? I highly recommend to read "Blue Ocean Strategy" and then ask yourselves; How are you going to make your competition irrelevant?
If you are an executive in the industry do not hesitate to reach out and connect with me, I love to hear your perspective and brainstorm the impact of a global shortage of skills on how we do business, lets dialogue.
