💼 Past Experience

I was born and raised in the Bay Area of San Francisco, and I started my career in advertising in 1986 as an account executive with the handling of print, electronic and specialty media campaigns. I moved up the ranks over the next few years, working in customer service and packaging, and most notably, as a buyer at Walt Disney Company’s ABC Television Studios. In 2002, I served as purchase buyer for the network’s operation in London. I then moved to become assistant general counsel for the network in late 2003 and lead all legal and financial operations for the network in the wake of the terrorist bombings in London (9/11). I left the network in 2006 after several years of dedicated service.I then spent two years as an executive vice president at WPP Group plc, a global advertising and media company. I was responsible for developing and leading global ad sales, marketing and consulting activities. I also had responsibility for the group’s north American ad sales efforts. I finalised the acquisition of WPP North America in early 2009 and led the charge to make the company one of the most successful global ad sales organizations.I left WPP in December 2009 to becomepresident and CEO of GQR Global Markets, an award-winning international Banking & Finance, Energy & Engineering, Technology and Life Sciences specialist search advisory and talent acquisition firm.I joined GQR in January 2014 as a Managing Director. I am responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm and for driving the firm to its strategic vision and mission. I produce and deliver results through our global talent acquisitions, which are the engine of our business. I also work to support our clients’ day-to-day operations.GQR is a collective of expert headhunters and leverage considerable pooled resources through collaborative project teams to deliver the intellectual and muscular capital essential for competitive advantage.
