Hi, my name is Randall Fallis and I am currentlyVP of Sales at Uptycs, Inc. Recently I joined the company as VP of Sales after spending many years at Databricks, a leading data security company. Databricks provided a SQL-Powered Security Analytics Platform., that leverages osquery as a Universal agent for data collection. A unified view for fleet visibility, intrusion detection, Investigation, vulnerability management and compliance across operating systems and computing environments. Petersbo is a leading software development company and they were a part of the early stages of development of the osquery product. I worked with them on a number of projects, including akerlabs' container security tool and akerlabs' container Monitoring policy.I've been working in the security industry for over 20 years. My experience includes working with worms, viruses, spyware and malicious code. I am extremely familiar with SQL and with data collection tools, such as osquery. I am excited about the potential of osquery and its potential to help our customers achieve their business goals.

Randall Fallis is a writer and thinker. A native of Vermonter, Randall Fallis enjoyed a distinguished academic career at University of Vermont, studying English, history, and political science. There he began to see himself as an Academic Artist as well as an Educator, something which has informed his professional career ever since. He has written widely on varied topics, both academic and practical, and has spoken and taught at universities and colleges around the world. Randall Fallis’s mostrecent book, The Innovator’s Dilemma, has become a bestseller, helping to expose the newly awakened global political awakening and the need for creativity and innovation in order to succeed. In addition to his writing,Randall Fallis also enjoys personal exploration and meditation, spending time underbrush and trees in Vermont, and exploring the greats of analytic philosophy and history.
