This included the technical back gorund of fasteners manufacturing & tooling. •Responsible for the Sales and Service activities in all AZ & NM Copper mines for Copper State. This includes the management of 10 employees and the team building process within Copper State Tucson.•Responsible for the Sales & Service activities in Southern NM, Southern AZ & El Paso areas in the industrial field. He had a project that saved the customer $150,000 in a four month time period. He was overseeing approximately 300 accounts & on average increased the sales by 20% per year. •Assisted in developing a long term contract with one of our biggest customers with a guaranteed cost savings for that company & our company. This resulted in a 3 year contract with them that was automatically renewed for another 3 years. During this process we built an alliance with this company which is still ongoing today.•Renegotiated terms in our contract with one of our largest accounts to cut costs & overhead for both companies. This allowed us to stock 15% less product overall for them & cut their cost by 2%. From August 1999 to August 2005 (6 years 1 month) Maintenance Planner/Scheduler @ Magma Copper Company (BHP) Planned & Coordinated the activities of up to 45 people in the repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance of mining equipment. Managed the maintenance budget for numerous different departments all totaling 3 million plus. Interface with suppliers, end users, contract and procurement. From April 1995 to July 1999 (4 years 4 months) Journeyman Mechanic @ Magma Copper Company (BHP) During this time frame he worked on under ground pneumatic and diesel equipment. He worked in the crushing department, smelter equipment (crushing, conveying & pumping) & the mobile equipment shops. The mobile equipment ranged from Locomotives, ore cars to CAT dozers, CAT haul truck and street sweepers. From January 1989 to April 1995 (6 years 4 months) Senior Sales Manager @ FLSmidth Working within all aspects of the FLSmidth teams for the assigned accounts of the SW USA Mining region. Offering technical & operational support while maximizing the efficiencies from mining through the tailing's process.
