Set up data driven tests that improved lead conversion rate of the mortgage business by 30% in just over a month. 3) Established a process to mandate discipline and rigor around end-to-end testing. Worked closely with the Product Management and Engineering team to close any gaps in the data capture and testing strategy.4) Implemented Phone Call Tracking and Analytics solution, Invoca, and integrated it with Optimizely to see the ROI impact of acquiring more users via phone calls vs. web leads. Designed landing pages to acquire more customer via phone calls. 5) Collaborated with Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to build a reporting platform that provided a complete picture of the user journey from viewing our ads to profitably converting them to customers. From April 2016 to December 2016 (9 months) Director, Site Optimization @ Shutterfly At Shutterfly, I improved the customer shopping experience, and optimized drivers behind Sales, RPV (Revenue Per Visitor), AOV (Average Order Value) and Conversion. My team analyzed all aspects of the business, industry and competitive landscape to distinguish what is critical from what is important. On a day-to-day basis, we used site analytics to identify area of opportunities, drive informed business recommendations and own the planning and execution of all optimization projects (A/B Testing, cross selling, site search, personalization etc.) aimed at increasing Shutterfly Inc’s revenue YoY. My team delivered incremental revenue of over $30M through optimization efforts during my tenure at Shutterfly. Highlights from my Shutterfly experience1) Developed annual eCommerce optimization strategy by defining and monitoring key eCommerce metrics and then worked with design, product and engineering to implement those features during the year. 2) Managed a team of four (includes optimization manager, two analysts and an engineer) to drive all eCommerce projects from conception to execution. 3) Served as subject matter expert for online commerce across the enterprise. Ensured effective communication of all eCommerce initiatives, resulting in consistent understanding of the reasons for, direction of, and expected results of each project.4) Used insights from analytics and other optimization solutions to drive targeted A/B and multivariate tests leading to an YoY improvement in site conversion rate and AOV (Average Order Value).5) Collaborated with engineering to build a targeted tool in house for acquiring new customers and increase the repeat frequency of existing customers. The first couple of projects using this new system resulted in a 15% improvement in RPV metric. 6) Negotiated and managed an annual budget of over $1M for eCommerce tools and solutions. From July 2011 to April 2016 (4 years 10 months) Redwood City, CAWeb Optimization Consultant @ Adobe Systems As an Adobe Consultant for Omniture technology, I drove substantial and measurable lift in the online businesses of the world's top companies. I analyzed and summarized clients' business goals, relevant metrics, suggested test ideas, and managed a team of designers & developers to execute on an Optimization Roadmap designed to achieve positive ROI in less than 6 weeks.Highlights from my Adobe experience:1) Developed Optimization Plans which included A/B tests, Multivariate tests, Landing page tests, Segment-based targeting, Behavioral targeting, Geo-targeting, Paid search and Display ad targeting, to achieve significant lift in targeted metrics. 2) Created detailed wireframes and managed creative production in order to accomplish testing goals (using AB & Multivariate testing) while adhering to customer's style guides. Scaled testing at LendingTree from 20 tests to 700+ tests a year, allowing marketing teams to significantly scale traffic with consistent improvement in conversion rates.4) Drove customers for the My LendingTree platform (smart product recommendations based on user's financial situation) in an endeavor to transform LendingTree’s business from a transactional model to customer retention model. From December 2016 to January 2020 (3 years 2 months) San Francisco Bay AreaSystems Analyst @ Hewitt Associates I was recruited by Hewitt after I completed my four year degree in engineering. I started working as an Analyst translating business requirement documents into technical specifications, writing SQL queries & test plans and then progressed on to a team management and mentoring role.
