Leandro Sousa recently completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Business Administration in Brazil. He got his degree in Business Administration in January 1988 and it was at the Universidade Católica de Petrópolis that he received his B.S. degree in 1980. After completing his undergraduate studies, he worked for a few years as an assistant professor at the Universidade Católica de Petrópolis. He then moved to the Center Universitário Plínio Leite in 1984, where he was a researcher in the Department of Economics and Administration. Throughout his academic career, he has published various papers in papers journals, most notably in the Review of Economics and Statistics. He is also a Divisional member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and he has been a Visiting Professor at many universities in the United States of America.
