Born and raised in the suburbs of Paris, Julien Camus started studying wine and spirits at the University of Bordeaux in 1992. He then worked as a wine taster for 16 years at two of the world's most renowned wine brands- Pernod Ricard and Perrier- before joining the wine industry as a wine consultant in 2006. He has since become a President at the Wine Scholar Guild- an industry-focused, private-sectoriredt of wine education and research. During his time as President at the Wine Scholar Guild, Julien has overseen the renovation and renovation of the Guild's wine Didier drinking room and celebration room, as well as the development of the Guild's wine industry program. Julien Camus is a graduate of the University of Bordeaux and has a degree in Wine and Spirit Studies.
