🎓 Education

Fatih BALYELI has a degree in engineering from MINES ParisTech. After completing her undergraduate education, she worked for a few years as a research engineer at a French wind power company. She then decided to move to China to attend Tsinghua University, where she was a research fellow from2013-2015. In 2015, she completed her PhD in electrical engineering, focusing on low-barrier and off-grid energy systems.Since joining the Magnetohydrodynamic Research and Development Institute (MHDI) as a senior engineer in 2017, Balyeli has been working on the development of a novel alternating current (AC) power supply for microgrid projects. In this work, she is working on designing and implementing a self-poweredNever-Ending Margin Discharge (NEMD) power loss compensation algorithm, a novel power management system for AC power systems, as well as tissue engineering applications.In her free time, Balyeli likes to organize her time around her home, participate in sport, read, and watch TV. She is also a avid music enthusiast, and enjoys listening to a variety of genres.
