💼 Past Experience

Donna Volpitta has been an educator for over 25 years, starting out as an Instructional Design Specialist for a small school in western Pennsylvania. She then went on to be an author and Founder at The Center for Resilient Leadership, where shelead the firm for over 10 years. There, she participated in dozens ofSmall school, middle school, and high school education programs. Donna also authored several successful curricula and manuals, as well as keynote speechwriting and ESL development. She is currently a Director at Pathways to Empower, where she leads the team of educators that design and deliver school-based interventions, curricula, and resources. She is also a speaker, teacher, and author.

Donna Volpitta has had a varied educational background, which has included studying at various sclerosis centers and Centers for Special Education, critical-thinking and problem-solving programs for students with special needs, and having clinical experience working with children with autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and ADHD. DonnaVolpitta’s experience working with students with special needs, as well as her education in special education and psychology has prepared her for her current role as a Special Education Professional Teacher (SPE).DonnaVolpitta has been a highly experienced and dedicated special education professional for over 20 years. She has worked in a wide variety of settings, including primary and postsecondary schools, special needs classrooms, homes for boys and girls with Developmental Disabilities, and special education institutions for students with Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. In her most recent role, DonnaVolpitta is a teacher assigned to work with students in the Boston public schools.DonnaVolpitta’s education has shaped her unique perspective on special education, and has prepared her to provide high-quality instruction to children with special needs. Donna Volpitta has been working in the Field of Educational Technology since 1997. As a Director and Educational Technology Trainer, she has helped fuse the field of Educational Technology with the field of Social Work to create Pathways to Empower. Donna Volpitta has also written and published books, articles, and tutorials. In her work experience, Donna Volpitta has developed a long-term, edible plan to empower people. The plan is to create a program that will empower people to succeed both physically and emotionally. Donna Volpitta believes that through education and empowerment, we can break the cycle of poverty and improve the quality of life for all. In her work, Donna Volpitta has found that effective and impactful programs can be created through the use of technology. After spending over 15 years working as a teacher and leader, Donna Volpitta has realized that through pairing education with technology, we can create a more positive and successful future for everyone.
