Building a BetterWay toWin.Dan Wise is currently the CEO of LiquidXS, a direct-to-consumer meal delivery company. During his 8 years at LiquidXS, Dan led the company from its conception in January 1999 until its acquisition by Azimuth Media in July 2007. At LiquidXS, he developed and scrapped several key business strategies, Tactics 1-3. Tactics 1-3 were: 1. Develop aNYSE Rule-based business model; 2. Europe first with a European delivery platform, then expand to North America; and 3. Expand to 100+ Distributers.Tactics 1-3 allowed LiquidXS to scale its operations quickly and enter new markets without amassing large amounts of excess inventory. By entering new markets and expanding to new distribution networks, LiquidXS avoided excessive product development and manufacturing costs, allowing it to focus on service and user experience. Dan Wise has also been a Board Member at Canadian Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation. In this role, he helps to support and manage the foundation's many programs and initiatives, including investments in vital medical research. He also leads the foundation's philanthropy efforts, which include domestically and internationally generating consent RNA donations for more than 100 sick kids. Dan Wise currently lives in New York City.
