BookingSuite is the software and services division of Booking.com, created with the acqusition of buuteeq, Inc. in June 2014. Currently, I am integrating the buuteeq finance and sales operations functions into Booking.com while simultaneously running the monthly and quarterly finance, accounting and sales operations rhythms and processes.
BookingSuite is headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and has global sales, customer success, marketing and product development teams with regional subsidiaries in Seattle, Amsterdam (NL), Santiago (Chile) and Singapore.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead the global finance, accounting and sales operations teams supporting sales, marketing, customer success and product development teams
• Manage and oversee core accounting operations (accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cash management, credit & collections, expense reporting, vendor management, employee benefits management)
• Lead sales operations function providing support in lead management, contracting, customer onboarding, sales reporting and dashboarding
• Financial planning & analysis, including leading the budgeting process and quarterly forecasting
• Develop quarterly sales targets and sales compensation plans to deliver against revenue and unit goals; also designed and run the monthly and quarterly sales commission and bonus payout processes
• Instituted monthly financial close rhythm and consolidated financial reporting
• Overseeing financial system migration of buuteeq’s Quickbooks and 3rd party billing system to Booking’s SAP system and billing platform From January 2015 to Present (1 year) Greater Seattle AreaVP Finance @ buuteeq, Inc. is the leading SaaS provider of e-commerce and marketing services to the hospitality industry. buuteeq’s cloud-based digital marketing software helps hoteliers manage their brand and drive bookings with responsively designed websites, robust user analytics and intuitive content-management tools. The Priceline Group acquired buuteeq in June 2014. buuteeq (renamed BookingSuite) is now a division of Booking.com, part of the Priceline group of companies. From August 2014 to December 2014 (5 months) Senior Finance Director, US Enterprise & Partner Group @ US CFO and Controller for Microsoft's largest sales segment (US Enterprise & Partner Group and US Public Sector). Managed a multi-billion dollar P&L across Microsoft's 3 US Commercial regions (12 sales districts) and 4 US Public Sector sales divisions (Federal, State & Local Government, Education and Healthcare).
Key activities included: partnering with sales leadership on pipeline management and weekly revenue outlook updates; developing and communicating quarterly CFO forecasts; annual planning, including whitespace opportunity identification and investment business case development; negotiating annual revenue targets and setting quotas for 2000+ sellers; setting and managing opex budgets; ensuring controls & compliance governance; delivering quarterly financial accountability (contribution margin).
Led, coached and developed finance team of 26 district controllers and financial analysts. From December 2011 to April 2014 (2 years 5 months) Senior Finance Director, Developer Tools Division and Developer & Platform Evangelism (DPE) @ Finance Lead for $1Bn+ Developer Division (Developer Tools, Technical Computing, High Performance Computing, MS Learning and Technet). Developed and managed opex and COGS budgets of $700M+ across Dev Tools, DPE, TC, MS Learning and Technet
End to end P&L management across R&D, Sales and Marketing
Key roles included controllership, FP&A, long-range planning, strategy development, new business model development, new product development and revenue target-setting for WW salesforce From April 2010 to December 2011 (1 year 9 months) Senior Finance Director, Management and Security Divisions @ Led finance team supporting Management and Services Divsion (System Center) and Identity and Security Division (Forefront, FIM, RMS, Active Directory). Oversaw $2Bn in revenue, $500M+ opex and COGS budget

Created and led Server & Tools (STB) Acquisition Integration team. Defined engagement model and governance framework across the key Microsoft groups (Corp Venture Integration, Corp Accounting, Tax, Real Estate & Facilities and acquired entity finance); identified and implemented best practices for each phase of integration process (due diligence, deal close, post deal close, post operational close); identified control risks and process changes to mitigate risks; oversaw financial aspects of STB acquisitions until entity closure, including statutory and tax reporting for acquired entities, oversight of legacy accounting systems, accounts payable and vendor management, real estate and facility lease termination and coordination of outstanding employee benefits From 2007 to 2010 (3 years) Finance Director and Business Manager, Windows Server System @ Managed finance team supporting SQL Server, Exchange Server and Biztalk Server organizations ($3Bn+ in revenue, $300M+ opex and COGS budget)
