I was born in Redding, California in June 1951. I grew up in Banning, California and then attended Banning High School where I played football and baseball. I then withdrawn from college and worked for my father’s printing business until I was eighteen months old. I then joined the Army and was sent to Viet Nam where I was a Sergeant. I divorced my wife and married a girl from Oregon. We travels for two years and she became pregnant and After our return to the U.S. we moved back to Oregon. We had one child and became a wanderers until we met the engineer Briant Benson.Benton got lost in the lumbersexual movement. He found that he wanted to do something more with his life than just stay in one place. After a while fighting off the temptations of home and service, he started thinking about his own 15-year-old’s dream of moving to a new city. The idea of starting his own company came to him and he took it up.I went to college for three years and then got a job as an engineer at a pen maker. I then trained as an engineer and engineer manager at the company. I was there for eleven years. In the meantime, I was married and had two children. When I left the company in 1992, I was engineer manager of a company that made medical devices. I was there for six years.Benton founded his own company in 1997 with the goal of developing new medical devices. He retired from his job at the company in January 2017. In that time, he has been working on creating a new medical device software product called Medtrak. He also founded a company, De Nova Technology, in 1981 which developed medical device systems and remains in business today.
