I reported to the EVP of Sales for the Americas in Fall of 2007. I was responsible for the sales of the Americas. Our sales represented over 30% of the company's total revenue and generated $100 million in total sales. I also handled sales for the Southeast Region and the Mid-Atlantic Region. I was responsible for a team of 60 direct field reps, 19 Inside reps, 32 System engineer, 9 direct managers, and 11 miscellaneous roles. We drove bookings to over $100 million in 2011 and 2012. I was also nominated for VP of the Year in 2011. In summer of 2006, I was the Regional Director for the Mid-Atlantic and southeast part of the US. I was responsible for all Enterprise accounts within the US that were designated as part of this vertical market for HP software. I grew the business by 32% in 2007 and generated over $80 million in total sales. In 2004, I was promoted to Vice President Southeast Region at Mercury. I was responsible for a 14 state region in the Mid-Atlantic and southeast part of the US, plus Latin America for 18 months. I also handled sales for the America's in Fall of 2002. I was responsible for a team of 42 field reps, 22 SE's, 18 inside reps and 7 direct managers. I was a nominee for VP of the Year in 2011.In June of 2003, I was the Regional Director for the Mid-Atlantic and southeast part of the US. I was responsible for all Enterprise accounts within the US that were designated as part of this vertical market for HP software. In my previous role, I managed a team of 28 field reps, 16 SE's and 5 direct managers. Our team delivered over $100 million in total sales. I also grew the business by 32% in my last four years with the company. I was promoted to Vice President of Sales in Fall of 2007 and was responsible for the sales of the Americas. In 2009, he became the associate professor at the University of Central Florida, where he remains the current holder of the post.In his current capacity, Brian Howie teaches a variety of educationalashioning classes for 4-year-olds through adults. He also provides expert commentary on the digital media and technology in education. Additionally, he is an expert on models of learning, development, and innovation. His work has focused on effective ways for educators to use technology in the classroom and to develop teaching strategies for students with special needs.Brian Howie is also currently concerning himself with his home-based business, Brainstorming Solutions, Inc. Brainstorming Solutions offers different services that pertain to the classroom and life outside of the classroom. The company publishes a blog and creates customized work- readiness tools for educators.
