💼 Past Experience

during my time at ILTA--International Legal Technology Association, I organized monthly meetings bringing in various vendors throughout the legal vertical to present based on their areas of expertise. As the volunteer city representative, I also organized monthly meetings with representatives from the acquirer, Chesapeake Pharmaceuticals, to ensure that their goals and vision were DSM'd and that they were able to fully fulfill their obligations as part of the acquisition. In September 2015, I was brought on board to help with the strategic vision, efficiency improvement, business process optimization, and systems standardization of FDH Velocitel, a company that I had formerly been a part of through my job at Chesapeake Pharmaceuticals. In September 2016, I was promoted to Senior IT Leader at FDH Velocitel, and in my new role, I am responsible for the Help Desk, Infrastructure, Business Applications, and Project Management Organization. My focus is on integrating and convergence of pre-existing M&A from a technology perspective to include data center consolidation as well as IT operations and support. In addition to my day-to-day work, I also took on a role as a Volunteer City Representative in Raleigh, NC from 2007 to 2010. This role allowed me to organize monthly meetings with various vendors, and to work closely with the Director of IT & Business Solutions, which was my indirect boss for the duration of my time there. In September 2015, I was given the opportunity to become sole interim CIO at FDH Velocitel, which was a restructuring effort that followed Chesapeake's acquisition by Multi Packaging Solutions. In this role, I was responsible for the management of Velocitel assets, and I was also responsible for helping to structure the company as an independent company. In November 2016, I left FDH Velocitel due to the spin-off of Velocitel into WestRock.In February 2017, I was brought on board to lead the restructuring efforts at PeopleFluent, a clinical trial SaaS organization. My role was to evaluate and rationalize the IT organization across 17 NA sites, and to develop and execute IT project plans with ownership responsibility for the technology budget. My ultimate goal was to make sure that Velocitel was able to meet the demands of the company's growth while also making sure that their technical debt was addressed. As a result of my work, PeopleFluent was renamed Learning Technologies and became one of Quintiles' preferred partners.In March 2017, I was promoted to Director of Global IT at Cenduit LLC, which was myoriginal role at the company. At Cenduit, I focused on the re-engineering of the IT organization, and I also sang in the company's strategic plan development. In May 2017, I was tasked with the reorganization of the technical department at PeopleFluent, and as a result, I managed to reduce SaaS downtime via implementation of IT training programs, stringent change control, and re-engineered virtual habitats housed in two US-based and one Asia-based data center. Additionally, I successfully resolved Audit findings and received an upgrade to a Silver certified preferred partner.
