Have worked for a number of Pharmaceutical companies in Safety Assessment and Pharmacology before joining Merck Research Laboratories as a research pharmacologist in 1990. Research background focused mostly on Cardiovascular Disease, primarily in hypertension and heart failure.
Joined MRL's Project Management Group in 1999 with responsibility for providing project management support for many cardiovascular programs, as well as programs in infectious diseases and neuroscience. Held positions of increasing responsibility within the group including Project Team Leader for several programs in both Early and Late Development. Therapeutic /Pipeline Lead for the Cardiovacular Franchise since 2006 with resposibility for Pipeline Management of all the CV Development programs.
