I have worked as a correspondent for The New York Times, as a news analyst at The Columbia Daily Spectator and as an adjunct lecturer at Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. For the past three years, I have been an editor and chief economics writer at FiveThirtyEight, a digital publication at ESPN. I have also worked as a reporter at The Wall Street Journal from June 2006 to December 2013. In my previous roles, I have covered topics such as the rise of Donald Trump, the financial crisis and the relationship between America and China.

Since he completed his undergraduate studies at The Roxbury Latin School in 1993, Casselman has continually worked to improve his skills and qualifications to work in the field of political science. He has achieved such success, in part, due to his dedication and hard work.Casselman completed his studies at The Learning Project in September 1999. Here, he was able to gain valuable experience in the field of learning and teaching.
