At my lowest point, I was $135,000 in debt, a single mother, and forced to leave my home. Only 18 months later, I sold my image licensing business for millions of dollars. I rose quickly in the creative arts industry after I earned my photography degree in Munich and then became the photo editor at ELLE Magazine. My zeal for adventure led me to America where I was a photographer representative and still photography producer. My client list included Wrangler, Levis, Homeboy, BMW, and Mercedes Benz. After the events of 9/11 wiped out my business, I set out to create BeateWorks, a stock syndication company specializing in interior, architecture, and celebrity home stories. A strong business plan and a personal letter to the President of the United States secured a loan backed by the Small Business Administration. BeateWorks became profitable within months and caught the attention Corbis Corp., an image-licensing agency privately held by Bill Gates. After purchasing BeateWorks, Corbis hired me as the Senior Director of Entertainment Photography overseeing the signature celebrity brand, Outline. I left Corbis in 2009 to start Chelette Enterprises, Inc. Good business sense coupled with my deep knowledge of internet marketing has enabled me to grow a business of helping other businesses succeed. To date, I have been nationally featured in over 50 television and radio shows and have helped hundreds of businesses to become profitable enterprises.
