I love software. The fact that the situation is almost that anything is possible with enough time is empowering. Because of this, software provides the ability for great software to provide optimal solutions. And I have spent the last 5 years aiming to build amazing software in both a start-up and 2,000+ organizations and in both a cloud-based SaaS application and more traditional enterprise software. At both, I have worked with cross-geography, cross-BU and across user archetypes.
At the Equilar, I was the lead product manager during growth from $5 to $20 million in annual revenue and transitioned to directly manage the product management and product design teams. At Informatica, I was the lead product manager leading the new thin-client application framework for use across all data integration, data quality and master data solutions. I've worked on products the are valuable for the access to data and trends they provide as well as products valuable for the capabilities they provide.
Personally, I have a passion about building betters habits towards the end of living better and happier. I love using great software and have a soft-spot for anything that can help me categorize my life better, whether Lift, Asana, Mint or GymPact. To this day, I still remember exactly where I was sitting when my Little League Baseball coach told the team "Practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect." I am a long-time fan of the UCLA Bruins (4th-generation Bruin) and one of the founders of The Den, UCLA's official student fan group.
Director of Product Management @ Rev started as an innovation project at Informatica. Started as an attempt to bring some of Informatica's technology to a new user, we've seen incredible successful building a product for one specific area: helping anyone and everyone get better access to data. There is a research that states 60 to 80% of all time preparing data for visualization; this time is wasted for basically everyone. Rev is designed specifically to help people answer questions.
