Technical lead. Spearheaded effort to automate scheduled reporting, clearing up hundreds of man-hours to work on high profile projects and ad hoc requests. The automated reporting project allowed the team to remain efficient without an increase in headcount. Over one thousand automated reports are sent out monthly through the automated reporting process.
Improved external facing ROI reports by streamlining code and adding quality control measures using a combination of SQL Server tables and VB.NET programs. The efficiencies and quality assurance measures put in place reduced quarterly project run time for my team from two months to three days.
Created and automated transaction summary tables that greatly reduced report run times. Average run times dropped from three minutes to under ten seconds.
Created code used by marketing team to identify and focus on reactivating clients, and to increase client entanglement. These programs were highly successful in bringing in additional revenue to the company which would have otherwise been lost.
Updated and streamlined code used to market to existing and potential clients through direct mail and electronic direct mail pieces. The code is used to find appropriate targets, as well as suppressing touches in line with client wishes. The original code was multi step process that took over an hour to run. Run time was reduced to approximately eight minutes.
Lead effort to centralize re-usable code, ensuring greater code accuracy and consistency. This allows new team-members to become productive quickly, while allowing code changes and improvements to be implemented across reports easily and automatically.
