Yuwei Zhong

Yuwei Zhong currently serves as Parcours Creuset - Ingénieure Qualité Fournisseur at Groupe Renault, where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of supplier components across multiple vehicle platforms. Her expertise in mechanical engineering, particularly in composite structural mechanics within the aerospace and eco-design sectors, provides a strong foundation for her work in quality management and incident resolution. In her current role, Yuwei oversees the treatment of quality incidents during series production, leading efforts to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence—thereby ensuring the highest standards of vehicle safety and durability.

Her involvement spans two successive perimeter projects, with her first focus on interior components such as dashboards, dashboard trims, seats, visibility systems, and lighting. The second perimeter expands her scope to critical systems including the GMP (Gestion de la Maintenance Préventive), GMPE (Gestion de Maintenance Préventive et Corrective), braking systems (BV), suspension GMP, 400V battery management, ILN (Integrated Lighting Network), cooling circuits, fuel systems, and starter mechanisms. This broad exposure enables her to leverage her skills in CATIA, SolidWorks, and MATLAB to analyze complex assemblies and optimize design for manufacturability and quality.

Yuwei’s participation in the QRR (Qualité, Responsabilité, et Résilience) factory meetings underscores her commitment to continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Her background in aerodynamics, materials science, and eco-conception enhances her ability to address quality challenges with innovative, sustainable solutions.
