Rob Chinchilla currently serves as the IT Operations and Infrastructure Lead at Christian Care Ministry, overseeing the strategic planning, deployment, and management of the organization’s critical IT systems for Medi-Share. In this role, Rob leverages his extensive expertise in enterprise infrastructure to ensure seamless operations, high availability, and robust disaster recovery capabilities. His responsibilities include managing complex Windows Server environments, including Active Directory administration across multiple domains, and implementing scalable virtualization solutions using VMware vSphere and VXRails. Rob’s proficiency with VMware Hypervisor, vCenter, and hyper-converged infrastructure enables Medi-Share to optimize resource utilization and enhance system resilience.

A key project under Rob’s leadership involved designing and deploying a comprehensive VDI environment utilizing Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. He created and managed desktop catalogs, delivery groups, and policies, ensuring secure and efficient remote access for staff and members. His deep knowledge of storage solutions, including Veeam backups, Storage Clusters, and VSAN, supports the organization’s data integrity and disaster recovery strategies. Rob also oversees the configuration and maintenance of Linux servers, thin terminals, and IGEL workstations, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and endpoint security.

Rob’s expertise extends to network traffic management with Netscalers and traffic optimization tools, which are vital for maintaining high-performance user experiences. His background in configuring and supporting Citrix environments, along with his skills in hardware, Cisco networking, and operating systems, positions him as a vital asset in maintaining Medi-Share’s mission-critical infrastructure. Through his proactive approach and technical leadership, Rob ensures that Christian Care Ministry’s IT infrastructure remains resilient, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
