About Pradhan B

As the Senior Engineering Manager leading the Payment Protection Engineering team at Sift, I am at the forefront of developing innovative solutions that harness the power of Machine Learning to combat fraud in the digital landscape. Our flagship Payment Protection product is designed to empower businesses by safeguarding them against payment fraud, account takeover, and content fraud, which are increasingly prevalent in today’s digital economy. In this role, I have the privilege of guiding a talented team of Machine Learning Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Data Scientists, all dedicated to creating robust systems that ensure the integrity of our clients' transactions.

My background as an engineer at Sharethrough Ad Exchange (STX) provided me with invaluable experience in building scalable systems that can handle high volumes of data and traffic. This expertise is crucial in my current role, where scalability and performance are paramount. I employ a variety of skills, including Software Development, Object-Oriented Design, and Project Management, to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards. Utilizing methodologies such as Scrum, I foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency.

At Sift, we are not just focused on developing technology; we are committed to creating a safer online environment for businesses and their customers. By leveraging advanced techniques in Machine Learning and data analytics, we continuously refine our algorithms to stay ahead of emerging fraud patterns. This proactive approach not only enhances our product offerings but also empowers our clients to grow their businesses with confidence, knowing they have a trusted partner in digital trust and safety.
