Mona Shahien is a seasoned consultant and project manager with extensive experience in civic, social, and cultural initiatives both locally and internationally. As the Founder and Director of Tahrir Lounge, she has been instrumental in creating a dynamic cultural and educational platform that fosters community engagement and empowerment. Launched in April 2011, Tahrir Lounge operates under the guiding slogan, “Be positive and participate in…” and focuses on six thematic areas: Awareness, Empowerment, Expressions, Effectiveness, New Beginnings, and Networking Communities.
