Jamil Chawki is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of extensive experience in network operations, cloud computing, SDN (Software Defined Networking), NFV (Network Functions Virtualization), and artificial intelligence, primarily within Orange and Ogero Telecom. Currently serving as the Program Director for Innovation & AI at Orange, Jamil is at the forefront of driving transformative initiatives that leverage cutting-edge AI and cloud technologies to enhance telecommunications services and customer experiences. His strategic leadership has been instrumental in shaping Orange’s innovation roadmap, focusing on integrating AI-driven solutions into core network operations and customer engagement platforms.

As the Founder and CEO of the Orange AI Marketplace—the first AI marketplace in Europe—Jamil has pioneered a groundbreaking platform that fosters collaboration between AI developers, startups, and enterprise clients. This initiative not only accelerates AI adoption across the telecom industry but also positions Orange as a leader in AI-powered digital transformation. In addition to his operational roles, Jamil chairs the Outreach Committee of the Linux Foundation AI, where he advocates for open-source AI development and industry-wide collaboration.
