Erik Vanek

Erik Vanek is a dedicated service designer at the Ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí ČR, where he leverages over a decade of experience in technology to create human-centered solutions that transform public services. Currently, he leads a multidisciplinary team focused on the project "Mám rozsudek a co dál?" This initiative aims to address the challenges faced by individuals transitioning from court sentencing to incarceration, a critical juncture that often leaves individuals vulnerable and in need of support. Erik's expertise in usability testing and agile methodologies enables his team to adopt a human-centered mindset, ensuring that the solutions they propose are not only innovative but also empathetic and practical.

By employing a blend of technical skills, including C#, JavaScript, and React, Erik is able to bridge the gap between design and functionality, crafting services that are both user-friendly and efficient.
