Our UK based company, West Oil Tools Ltd, operates and manages platform based Rigless Units globally.West Oil Tools Ltd in Aberdeen, UK, is a dedicated service company providing Rigless Units to the offshore-based platform market. The company has a portfolio of rigless units targeting the Plug & Abandonment, Well Intervention and Sidetrack Drilling markets. All West Oil Tools'​ units are characterised by low CAPEX and OPEX costs for operators in addition to low POB, rapid deployment and a small footprint, making it suitable for most platforms in the North Sea. We also cooperate with other subcontractors, giving operators globally several alternatives on how to use modular technology for their P&A and Well Intervention projects, for instance through liftboat applications and tender assist vessels. West Oil Tools has also developed new concepts for conductor recovery on platforms. The aim of this concept is to become the default choice for conductor recovery in the North Sea.
