Gemini has been providing the global energy market with corrosion protection solutions since 1982. They offer an extensive range of paint, thermal spray, phosphate and fluoropolymer coating solutions, and are always ready to investigate new processes and coating systems to solve customers’ corrosion issues.
One of Gemini’s specialisations is the protection of tubular products such as line pipe and risers, whether new or requiring refurbishment. Not only do they operate a unique, dedicated automated Thermal Spray Aluminium coating facility for these products, but have also developed techniques for phosphating fabricated riser connectors to OEM specification.
Gemini is also actively developing new coating solutions and application processes to combat recognized industry corrosion problems, thereby enhancing asset life and reducing costs.
Celebrating their 30th Anniversary this year, Gemini opened a “specialist coating” facility, adding to their existing extensive capabilities, and ensuring continued provision of surface engineering solutions to the global energy market.
