Waukee Community Schools

Mission Statement: Dedicated to optimizing individual learning and potential for success in a global community. Every person associated with our schools is working to deliver on our mission and vision each day. Specifically, we want to prepare every child to be ready to enter a college/university or a highly skill job. About: Waukee is the fastest growing school district in the state of Iowa with more than 1,300 staff members serving more than 9,800 students in grades preschool through twelfth grade. Our schools serve students from Clive, Urbandale, Waukee, and West Des Moines as well as open enrollment students from other communities outside the 55 square miles of our district boundaries. There are currently 13 school buildings operating in Waukee including eight elementary schools: Brookview, Eason, Grant Ragan, Maple Grove, Shuler, Walnut Hills, Waukee Elementary and Woodland Hills; two middle schools (sixth and seventh grade): Waukee Middle School and Waukee South Middle School; two eighth & ninth grade buildings: Prairieview and Timberline; and one high school: Waukee High School.
