Sturgeon Electric California, LLC (Sturgeon Electric California) is a subsidiary of Sturgeon Electric Company, Inc. under MYR Group Inc., a publicly-traded (Nasdaq: MYRG) holding company of multiple subsidiaries located throughout the United States and western Canada. Our teams deliver a complete range of electrical construction services, including power line construction and commercial/industrial (C&I) electrical construction, to clients throughout California. Sturgeon Electric California’s power line division offers full-range capabilities related to high voltage transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and emergency restoration for new construction, modifications, repairs, and maintenance. Our C&I electrical contracting capabilities range from large-scale commercial and industrial projects, to telecommunications/low voltage services, and transportation and traffic signalization construction projects. We provide these services to general contractors, commercial and industrial facility owners, local governments, and developers. With years of experience working in California, our team has developed an arsenal of knowledge regarding issues unique to the region when it comes to topography, weather conditions, permitting/ROW/ landowner relations, regional laws and regulations, familiarity with local and regional subcontractors, and union and labor relations as well as possess extensive expertise providing services in congested urban environments.
