BCHA

Working Together: Building Better Lives, Better Homes and Better Communities We’re a specialist housing and support provider of approximately 400 staff, helping people who find themselves homeless and vulnerable after facing poverty, relationship breakdowns, addictions, unemployment, domestic violence, human trafficking, release from prison and deteriorating mental and physical health. In addition, we provide affordable housing to those with limited income; run 3 vibrant and hugely popular National Citizenship Programmes for 15-17 year olds each year; support new and emerging social enterprises and have an in-house maintenance team which looks after all the many properties we own or use. Our services stretch across the South West (mainly in Devon / Dorset / Wiltshire, Hampshire and Somerset). Our corporate services are based in Bournemouth. On average, we help over 10,000 people each year to access the right housing, living, support, learning and work opportunities. Our jobs make a real and positive difference to people's lives. Working within the charitable sector is always a challenge, particularly with funding, but for those looking for real job satisfaction, BCHA can definitely provide this. 2018 marks our 50th Anniversary and we will be launching a campaign to mark the occasion.
