Veteran Staffing Network

The Veteran Staffing Network (VSN) at Easterseals is a national nonprofit staffing agency that connects employers with top-tier military talent and helps veterans and their spouses find meaningful jobs. To date, the VSN has helped employers hire nearly 3,000 veterans and family members in 40 different states. The revenue generated has enabled coaching services to be provided to more than 15,000 veterans and family members internationally. The Veteran Staffing Network is a social enterprise business developed by Easterseals DC MD VA that builds on our long experience in veteran employment programs. At its core, the Veteran Staffing Network is a staffing agency. We provide temp-to-perm, contract, and direct-hire placements. Instead of serving the general public, however, we put our veterans on a meaningful career path. We accomplish this by bringing together diverse constituencies and strengths in an innovative way to support both the business seeking to hire top-notch employees and veterans transitioning to civilian life. As a non-profit organization, we reinvest all revenues generated by the Veteran Staffing Network to provide crucial support services for veterans, wounded warriors, and their families. All of our employees are themselves veterans, many of them service-disabled veterans. We walk the walk and talk the talk. We are veterans serving our fellow veterans. The Veteran Staffing Network takes an ecosystem approach that attacks the barriers to employment at each pain point within the system, supporting veterans, their families, and the organizations that employ them. It builds a bridge between employers and veterans and provides the support infrastructure each need to succeed, and uses a private industry model for sustainability.
