Information
The Football Players Health Study at Harvard University is a player-led, player supported effort that focuses on improving the health and well-being of former players, with an emphasis on the whole player, over the course of his whole life. We are developing new strategies for diagnosing, preventing, and treating injuries and illnesses that continue to impact the health and careers of former NFL players. This Study has convened research teams from across Harvard University’s schools and its affiliated academic healthcare centers, and several advisory teams, including former players. Our current research efforts currently include several pilot studies and a first questionnaire, to which over 4,000 former players have responded.
